Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how LifeOS AI ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and web application (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice. We are a company registered in the Republic of South Africa and process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. Cookies set by us are "first-party" cookies; cookies set by third parties we use are "third-party" cookies.
2. Cookies we use
The Service uses the following categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies. Required for core functionality such as authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled as the Service would not function without them.
- Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Google Consent Mode v2 to understand how visitors interact with the Service. These cookies collect aggregated, pseudonymous information about pages visited, device type, and approximate location. They are only set after you grant consent.
- Support and behaviour analytics cookies. We use Microsoft Clarity to help us improve the Service through session recordings and heatmaps. Pseudonymous usage data is collected in accordance with Clarity's privacy practices.
We do not use cookies for targeted advertising, cross-site tracking, or sharing data with advertising networks.
3. Consent and the consent banner
When you first visit the Service, a cookie consent banner is displayed. You may accept or reject non-essential (analytics) cookies. Your choice is stored for the current browser session and is re-applied on subsequent page loads. Because the choice is session-based, the banner will reappear after you close your browser or log out, giving you the opportunity to reconsider your preferences each session.
4. Managing your preferences
You can review or change your cookie consent choices at any time from our Cookie Preferences page. You may also clear cookies through your browser settings; note that this will sign you out and reset your preferences. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent.
5. Third-party services
Third-party providers such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We configure these services with Consent Mode v2 so that analytics storage is denied until you grant consent.
6. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
7. Contact
For questions about this Cookie Policy, contact us via our Contact page. This policy forms part of our Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice.
