This Disclaimer applies to your use of LifeOS AI (the "Service") and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below. LifeOS AI is a company registered in the Republic of South Africa, and this Disclaimer is governed by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

1. No professional advice

The Service, including the AI Coach and all insights, suggestions, scores, and reports it generates, is provided for general informational and productivity purposes only. It is not, and does not constitute, medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. The AI Coach is a data-driven assistant that reflects the information you enter; it cannot diagnose conditions or guarantee outcomes. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for matters within their area of expertise.

2. No health or medical advice

Health, fitness, sleep, nutrition, and mood features are for general tracking and awareness only. They are not a substitute for professional medical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard, delay, or avoid seeking medical advice because of something you read or receive through the Service. If you have or suspect you have a health condition, or if you are in crisis, contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services immediately.

3. No financial advice

Finance features and any AI Coach analysis of your finances are provided for informational and budgeting purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or trading advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied upon as a basis for making investment or financial decisions. Financial decisions involve risk, including the risk of loss. You should consult a licensed financial advisor before making financial decisions. Past performance or projections within the Service do not guarantee future results.

4. Accuracy of data and outputs

While we strive to provide a reliable Service, we do not warrant that the Service, the AI Coach outputs, or any information displayed will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. The accuracy of the data in your account depends largely on the information you enter. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before acting on it. The Service may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

5. Reliance on the Service at your own risk

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the non-excludable rights conferred by the CPA, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.

6. Third-party content and links

The Service may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, services, and content that we do not control. We are not responsible for and do not endorse the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party resources. Your interaction with third parties is solely between you and that third party, and is subject to their terms and policies.

7. Limitation of liability

Subject to the rights conferred on consumers by the CPA, which cannot be excluded, neither LifeOS AI nor its affiliates, officers, employees, or service providers shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Service. This includes liability for decisions you make based on the Service or the AI Coach, including health, financial, or life decisions. Our aggregate liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.

8. AI Coach outputs

Outputs generated by the AI Coach are produced by automated systems and may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate. They are suggestions, not directions, and nothing changes in your account without your explicit approval where the Service offers such approval. You must use your own judgement and seek professional advice before acting on any output.

9. No employer or agency relationship

Nothing in the Service creates any employer-employee, agency, partnership, or fiduciary relationship between you and LifeOS AI. If you use the Service with a coach or professional, that relationship is between you and the professional; we do not endorse or guarantee the services of any professional.
